It's been awhile

We've been busy, but haven't had much to report. I'm home alone this cloudy, rainy Sunday, so thought I'd catch everyone up on what's happening here at the ridge. Link left this morning on a business trip to Florida. Karl's in France for the next few weeks. E and Amelia are working at their home. It's really looking nice with all the improvements they've made. We're looking forward to seeing them here in a few weeks!
I'm busy, trying to grow grass. We planted local blends of grass in an effort to save water. What we didn't know is the amount of watering it takes to get the local grasses to actually become established! We're told that in the long run we'll be happy we have this blend of grasses - but there is more work involved than we had bargained for! (Yes, we remember sitting around the condo bemoaning the fact we didn't have any work to do around the house!)
Link and I went to Billings Wednesday night for a John Prine concert. It was great, and we had a chance to get to know Billings.
Friday we spent the day in Yellowstone. We thought we'd beat the crowds by going early in the season, but many other people had the same idea! It was a nice day anyway, and the park is beautiful!
